Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was born on this day 180 years ago. On this occasion, we present you with 'Tchaikovsky 2020' – a collection of all the symphonies and instrumental concertos by the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra and its Artistic Director Alexander Sladkovsky, intended to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the great Russian composer. The idea behind the recording collection is unique – it covers all the instrumental works of the composer: 7 symphonies, 3 concertos, as well as the Concert Fantasia for piano and orchestra, the Violin Concerto and the Variations on a Rococo Theme for cello and orchestra.
